🥔 Sweet Potato Season Update: Pricing, Crop Status & Export Timeline
As the new season begins, we’re excited to share the latest updates on our sweet potato crop, pricing, and export readiness. Whether you're a retailer, distributor, or procurement manager, here’s what you need to know to plan ahead.
📦 Opening Prices for Bulk Sweet Potatoes
We’re now offering competitive CNF pricing for two key size categories:
Medium Sweet Potatoes (150–300g ±) Packed in 18kg cartons at $17.75 CNF
Extra Large Sweet Potatoes (600–800g ±) Packed in 18kg cartons at $18.25 CNF
Each container holds 1,280 cases, ensuring efficient bulk delivery for your supply chain.
🌱 Crop Status & Harvest Progress
Currently, only 30% of the crop has been harvested, but early yields are promising. We’re seeing a healthy mix of sizes:
Some lots show a higher percentage of larger sweet potatoes
Others lean toward smaller sizes, offering flexibility for different retail formats
🚚 Export Timeline & Curing Update
At this stage, no sweet potatoes have been cured for export. We expect cured stock to be ready for shipment by late October to early November, depending on weather and curing conditions.
📌 Advance Order Planning
To ensure smooth packing and shipping, we kindly ask buyers to confirm orders in advance. This helps us align logistics and secure your preferred sizes and packaging formats.
